Spanish is a beautiful and very accessible language, spoken by a large percentage of the world’s population: throughout Central America; South America (apart from Brazil); The Canary and Balearic Islands; and, of course, mainland Spain.

For some people, Spanish is the language of relaxing, sunny holidays; for others, it may be the adventure of discovering wilder places and amazing landscapes. But what makes it so much more interesting and satisfying is understanding and communicating with people in their own language.

Some languages may be very difficult for beginners, but Spanish, having many of the same roots as English, is one of the easiest to learn.

The Spanish language group is very friendly and informal, making it easier for all, regardless of ability, to enjoy discovering more about Spanish. A great benefit of practicing and studying the language in a group is not only that it is very enjoyable, but also can be an easy way to improve confidence in Spanish conversation.

We meet at 2 PM every Tuesday at the Community Centre, Tulloch Street in Dingwall. All are welcome.

Contact Jerry on the group email for information.
